Getting Started

  1. What is Christian Headbangers Forum?

CHF is a web-based forum for Christian metal lovers from around the world.  Make friends, share bands, and keep up-to-date on what's new in the metal world.

  2. How do I join?

Joining is easy!  You just need an email address.  Simply click the "Register" button in the "Members Area" tab to the top right of the home page.  Follow the instructions and get posting right away!

  3. What content can I upload to the Forum?

You can upload videos, photos, links, dates to the calendar, and pretty much anything else you can think of.  However, CHF does not tolerate links to illegal downloads (ones not authorized by the band).  If you find a link that is authorized by the band, or you are a band member yourself, feel free to share the music!

  4. Can I start my own topic?

Of course!  Simply click the "Start Discussion" button on the "Forum" tab.  Be sure to choose a relevant thread to post the topic in.  Occasionaly, an admin may move your topic to another thread just so people can find it easier.

  5. Do I have to be a Christian to join?

No, you don't have to be a Christian to join.  We welcome all fans of Christian music.  However, we ask you to act with respect towards your fellow members in the Forum.

Advanced Users

  1. How do I contact an admin or moderator?

Administrators and moderators are here to help you!  Simply click on the "About Us" tab at the top of the page and you will find links to each person's page here on the Forum.  Leave us a shout or send us a message and we'll get right with you!

  2. How do I become an admin or moderator?

Do you want to help others in the forum?  Becoming an administrator or moderator may be the right thing for you!  While there are no specific qualifications for these positions, you must be very involved with the forum.

  3. Is spellcheck available?

The template that Webs.com currently supports does not offer a spellcheck solution.  If you are bothered about occasional grammatical mistakes, you can write something in a word processor, check the spelling, and then copy and paste it to the Forum.

Technical Issues

  1. The Forum won't load, what do I do?

Since we are hosted for free by webs.com, occasionaly traffic on the server will overwhelm their load capacity.  Simply try back later, and the Forum should be up and running.

  2. Why can't I join the Forum?

If you have a valid email address, you should be able to join.  However, issues have occasionally occured.  Contact an admin if you can't reslove the problem, as these cases are best dealt with on an issue-to-issue basis.
